Privacy Policy

EPG Connect is made by EPG Connect, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we handle on this website (epgconnect.com) and in the EPG Connect apps: EPG Connect OS, Phone, CRM, Sign, Calendar and HR.

EPG Connect is used today by PMI Southeast CT, the property management office of Experience Property Group Inc., where it was built. When a company uses EPG Connect, that company decides what it records about its own customers, and we handle that information on its behalf. If you are a tenant, owner or other customer of a company that uses EPG Connect, that company's own privacy policy also applies to you.

This website

• The website has no sign-up forms, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking cookies.
• Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and protect the site.
• The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit.

What the EPG Connect apps handle

• Staff accounts: name, work email, company, department, role and sign-in history.
• Calls: phone numbers, times and length of calls, voicemails and their transcripts, and call notes. Calls are recorded, and people who call in hear a recording notice. When the AI Receptionist answers, it says it is an automated assistant, and the conversation is transcribed so the team can follow up.
• Text messages: messages sent and received, and a history of each person's consent to receive texts.
• Records: the contacts, properties, leases, leads, tasks and notes a company keeps in EPG Connect OS, including details synced from its property management software.
• Documents sent for signature: the document, each signer's name and email, their consent to sign electronically, and when they viewed and signed it, with the IP address and device used. These details appear on the document's certificate.
• Bookings: the name, email and any answers someone gives when booking a meeting. Calendar events themselves stay in the person's Outlook or Google calendar; EPG Connect reads them when shown and does not keep its own copy.
• HR records: employee details and time off, which only people the company names can see.

How we use it

We use this information only to provide EPG Connect: to connect calls and texts, route callers, send documents and booking confirmations, show each person the records they are allowed to see, keep records of consent, keep the service secure, and fix problems.

Who else handles it

We use service providers to run EPG Connect. They handle information only to provide their service to us:

• Twilio: phone calls, text messages, voicemail, call transcription and the AI Receptionist's voice.
• Anthropic: the AI that powers the AI Receptionist's conversations and call summaries.
• Supabase: the database and file storage.
• Netlify and Render: hosting for the website and the apps.
• SendGrid: email, such as sign-in codes, signing requests and booking confirmations.
• Microsoft 365, Google and Zoom: when a company connects them, for calendar sync and meeting links. Word files sent for signature are converted to PDF through Microsoft 365 and deleted right after.
• Apple and Expo: notifications on the iPhone app.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the phone service providers that deliver the messages.
• We do not use the information in EPG Connect for advertising.

How long we keep it

Information is kept while the company's EPG Connect account is active, or longer when the law requires it, for example for signed documents and consent records. A company can ask us to delete its information when it stops using EPG Connect.

How we protect it

Each company's information is kept separate, and within a company people see only the departments they belong to. Staff sign in with a code sent to their work email, and changes to key records are logged. No system is perfectly secure, and we keep improving these protections.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
• To see, correct or delete information about you, contact the company you deal with, or contact us using the details below.

Children

EPG Connect is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
